SITICEM S.P.A.: Second only to Piaggio as industrial entity in Pisa district SITICEM SPA was put under receivership. MDA associati has been appointed by the receiver to draw -up a plan for the restructure of the company in order to save jobs and diminish the unemployment into the district. The employees accounted for 330. The plan was drawn -up into 2 parts: First in July 1999 by selling the controlled company Siticem montaggi e manutenzioni spa to TEKNARK , thus saving all 280 jobs. Second in November 1999 by the lease agreement with Zerbinati srl which has allowed to prevent any dismissal of employees. The overall operation has been ratified by the reciver in conjunction with government authorities.
